Forced cells
A cell is forced when there is only one digit that can be there
because all other digits already occur elsewhere in the same row,
column or box. For example, in the diagram below
the yellow square must be 5, it is the only possibility left.
Terminology A forced cell is often referred to
as a 'naked single'.
