General

The 39th annual Meeting of Dutch Statisticians and Probabilists will take place November 15-17, 2010 in the Conference Centre `De Werelt', Westhofflaan 2, Lunteren, Telephone 31 + (0)318-484641. The organisers are M.S. Keane, M.N.M. van Lieshout and A.W. van der Vaart. The Meeting is sponsored by the Gebiedsbestuur Exacte Wetenschappen (NWO), the Sectie Mathematische Statistiek (VVS), the Mathematical Research Institute (MRI), the Thomas Stieltjes Institute for Mathematics, and the Stochastics - Theoretical and Applied Research cluster.

Programme

Six invited speakers will give two lectures of one hour each on topics in Statistics or Probability. The lectures are open to anyone who is interested. The programme starts Monday November 15 at 10.30 h and ends Wednesday November 17 after lunch. A poster session will be held Monday evening.

Participation Fee and Lodging

A limited number of people may stay at the Conference Centre overnight.
 
Costs:
A full stay including registration fee, accomodation and all meals from November 15 before lunch to November 17 after lunch costs EUR 340 / 370 if registered and paid before / after October 1.
 
For a two day arrangement (registration fee, one overnight stay and all meals during two days) EUR 240 / 270 if registered before / after October 1.
 
Participation in the scientific programme without an overnight stay will cost EUR 90 / 110 per day including registration fee, meals and coffee during breaks if registered before / after October 1.
