General

The 40th annual Meeting of Dutch Statisticians and Probabilists will take place November 14-16, 2011 in the Conference Centre `De Werelt', Westhofflaan 2, Lunteren, Telephone 31 + (0)318-484641. The organisers are W.Th.F. den Hollander, M.N.M. van Lieshout and A.W. van der Vaart. The Meeting is sponsored by the Gebiedsbestuur Exacte Wetenschappen (NWO), and the Stochastics - Theoretical and Applied Research cluster.

Programme

Six invited speakers will give two lectures of one hour each on topics in Statistics or Probability. The lectures are open to anyone who is interested. The programme starts Monday November 14 at 10.30 h and ends Wednesday November 16 after lunch.

Poster session


Posters

A poster session will be held on Monday evening. If you would like to present a poster, please send us a title by completing the appropriate section on the registration form. Poster boards and attachment materials will be provided by the organisation. Posting your poster will be your own responsibility. Please be present for discussion with the public during the poster session. We strongly recommend the A0 or A1 format.

Participation Fee and Lodging

A limited number of people may stay at the Conference Centre overnight.
 
Costs:
A full stay including registration fee, accomodation and all meals from November 14 before lunch to November 16 after lunch costs EUR 370.
 
For a two day arrangement (registration fee, one overnight stay and all meals during two days) EUR 270.
 
Participation in the scientific programme without an overnight stay will cost EUR 110 per day including registration fee, meals and coffee during breaks.
