Call for papers --------------- Workshop on New Techniques for Consuming, Managing, and Manipulating Interactive Digital Media at Home In conjunction with the International Symposium on Multimedia 2007 Taichung, Taiwan, R.O.C. December 10-12, 2007 “New Techniques for Consuming, Managing, and Manipulating Interactive Digital Media at Home” brings together researchers and practitioners interested in innovative approaches to consume digital media. This topic will be studied from a number of perspectives: social aspects, context awareness, frameworks and tools, narrative forms, and document modeling. The organizing committee invites you to submit original high-quality papers, addressing the topics, for presentation at the workshop and inclusion in the conference proceedings. Important Dates Submission deadline July 20, 2007 Notification of Acceptance August 20, 2007 Camera ready September 21, 2007 Conference date December 10-12, 2007 Submission details Papers should be at most 6-page manuscripts in double-column IEEE format and written in English. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least 3 members of the organizing committee. The workshop proceedings will be printed by IEEE and indexed in IEEEXplore. Papers submitted must be original unpublished work and must not be simultaneously submitted or under review for any other workshop, conference or journal. Any paper found to be in violation of these rules will be rejected without review. (We may share information about submissions with the program committee of other conferences considering papers during the review period.)
