Short TI project end 2002 (Jacco & Lynda total of 240 hours = 6 weeks) to set up connections with TI. Then define future project with TI about E-learning, adaptive hypermedia and the Semantic Web. First deliverable: The Semantic Web and its Implications for E-learning.

Project runs until December 2001
The scope of the complete project is to develop and deploy novel IP networks and services, using available technologies (products or prototypes) in conjunction with standards organisations and forums, such as W3C and ISO. Our group's involvement is to interface these new network services to media intensive and adaptive information applications. The approach is to generate a hypermedia presentation containing the information requested by the user in a format suited to their display device.

W3C XML Linking Working Group Webpage
Project description
The W3C XML Linking Working Group is reponsible for the W3C recommendations XML Linking (XLink) and XPointer. Our involvement was as a liaison between this working group and the HTML and SMIL development efforts. Our involvement ended when the formats involved matured.
