Your registration fee covers your attendance at the conference, coffee breaks, a copy of the DISC proceedings and the conference package, the Amsterdam City Hall reception on Monday, October 4th; the Business Meeting on Tuesday, possibly including beverages; a boat trip through the canals of Amsterdam and the conference dinner on Wednesday, October 6, at the magnificent Art Deco style (1913) De Industriele Groote Club. It does not cover any meals except the conference dinner. Lunches are on your own, for example in the conference venue street (canal) Kloveniersburgwal, or in a 1 minute walk at the bustling Nieuwmarkt, or in a 3 minutes walk to Waterloo Plein or even the infamous OZ.Achterburgwal (Red light district).
Student registration will include the full package, including banquet and boat ride. The registration fee does not cover the costs involved. Therefore, student registrants must be able to supply proof of full-time student status upon request. Proof consists of a signed letter of the PhD (or MSc) supervisor. Postdocs are not students.
You can pick up your registration package at the conference venue Trippenhuis from Monday, October 4, at the conference hours.
