Exercises
Exercises will be handed out on Friday afternoon.
The plan is that you have to consider several models
you have seen:
-
the model concerning nitrate in the human body
-
the linearized model for the geostationary satellite
-
the inverted pendulum model (also the linearized case)
and to discuss controllability for each of these models.
There will also be a more theoretical exercise. At some
point in the lecture I will use the Cayley-Hamilton
theorem. The exercise will be to show that that theorem indeed
gives us what we want at that point.
