- At least five key words.
The paper must include an introduction in which a motivation

Only papers written in English are accepted for the review process.

Number of pages and font size
A typical paper submitted to MCSS consists of an average of 20 pages
of LaTeX in 11 point article style with a maximum of 25 such pages,
50 double-spaced typewritten pages, or an equivalent.
If a paper is longer than the maximum number of pages then authors
are requested to provide a justification for the added length in
their cover letter.
Submit all manuscripts to the
Springer MCSS Editorial Manager System (EMS) available on the web.
As of 1 January 2006, all MCSS submissions have
to be submitted to the Springer MCSS EMS!
When at this page, register, and follow the instructions
for submissions of the paper.
The system will acknowledge receipt of the paper.
In case of problems contact
Mr. Harvey Gocuay (Springer) for assistance
at Harvey.Gocuay@springer.com
Inquiries regarding submitted papers should be addressed to:
Jan H. van Schuppen (MCSS Co-Editor), see above for the
contact information.
The correspondent author will upon acceptance of the paper
be requested to upload the files of the paper
including figures and the bibliography.
Checking the proofs
The correspondent author can expect to be asked to provide
comments on the proofs produced by the typesetter.
The typeset version of the paper will be communicated
to the correspondent author by email in the form of a .pdf file.
Should the author wish to correct stylistic or factual errors,
then he or she may be asked to pay for the cost of changes.
Proofs must be checked and returned to the publisher
within forty-eight hours of receipt.
Offprints
Twenty five offprints will be forwarded to the correspondent
author, unless otherwise indicated.
Additional offprints can be purchased by filling out the
Offprint Order Form which will be sent to the corresponding
author along with the proofs.
