Preparation of a Paper for Publication in MCSS
Please prepare your paper for publication in MCSS by carefully
checking the points listed below and by modifying the paper if
necessary.
Comments
Please take care of the latest comments of the Associate Editor
and of the reviewers if these are enclosed with the decision
message or letter.
Title page information
Please check whether the information for the title page is complete.
The information is
specified in the Instructions to Authors of which a version is
available on the web at the address

Abstract
Please recheck the abstract of your paper. The text should be
understandable to readers both from within and from outside
your area of specialization.
The abstract has to cover the main results of your paper.
Keywords
Please supply at least five and at most ten keywords. These
keywords are entered in the indices of MCSS and in public data
bases. They will be useful to users of these databases in
search processes.
Address
Please check whether the address information is correct and
complete. Supply your telephone and fax number, and your email
address. The email address will be listed in the paper, the
telephone and fax numbers are for the use of the Springer copy
editor only.
Acknowledgements
The text of acknowledgements is to be placed towards the end of
the paper, directly before the reference list.
Appendices
Appendices are to be placed behind the end of the main body
of the paper but before the bibliography.
Bibliography
Please check whether the references are in the MCSS format as
described in the Instructions to Authors. Check also whether
the text of the references is complete. Supply information on recently
published references as far as available at the time of
submission of the current version of your paper.
Electronic version of paper
Springer-Verlag London Limited, the publisher of MCSS, requests
of every paper that appears in the journal, an electronic
version.
Please send to the address specified in the message
the .zip file with a package containing
the .tex file, all macros, the .bbl file, and the .eps files
of figures or equivalent if any.
This version of the paper will be checked by the Editor-in-Chief
after which it is forwarded to the publisher.
