Georgios (Yorgos) Amanatidis

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), working in the Networks and Optimization group.

Before that, I was a Ph.D. student at Athens University of Economics and Business, supervised by Vangelis Markakis.

My research interests lie in theoretical computer science. In particular, I enjoy working on approximation algorithms, computational social choice, and algorithmic mechanism design.

I received my Master's degree in Mathematics from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009 and my Diploma in Applied Mathematics from the National Technical University of Athens in 2004.
