Workshop on Advances in Algorithmic Game Theory

The workshop will be hosted at the Center for Mathematics and Computer Science (CWI) in Amsterdam. CWI is located at Science Park Amsterdam in the east of Amsterdam. The address is:

Note: The easiest way to access CWI is via the entrance on Science Park or Carolina Mac Gillavrylaan. Currently, there are some construction works going on and google maps is not quite up to date. Please use the following map of the Science Park area.

The workshop will take place in room L120 (new building). Once you enter CWI, please follow the indicated directions.

Airport

Amsterdam is very well connected via Schiphol Airport. From the airport you may either take the train to the central station "Amsterdam Centraal" (about 15 minutes) or a taxi (taxis are quite expensive in Amsterdam, so better ask for the approximate fare before you get in).

Train and Public Transport

You may use 9292 as a journey planner for public transportation.

Directions from central station to the hotels:
Both hotels are easily reachable from the central station "Amsterdam Centraal".

To reach NH Tropen Hotel: Take Tram 9 (departs from central station (east-side), destination "Diemen") and get off at "Eerste van Swindenstraat". From there you can walk to the hotel (see map).

To reach NH Museum Quarter Hotel: Take Tram 16 or Tram 24 (departs from central station (east-side), destination "VU medisch centrum") and get off at "Ruysdaelstraat". From there you can walk to the hotel (see map).

Directions from the hotels to CWI:
CWI is easily reachable from both hotels.

From NH Tropen Hotel: Take Tram 9 (destination "Diemen") and get off at "Kruislaan". From there you can either walk by following the street "Kruislaan" (about 10 minutes) or take Bus 40 to "Amsterdam Science Park".

From NH Museum Quarter Hotel: Walk to tram station "Ceintuurbaan / F Bolstraat" and take Tram 3 (destination "Muiderpoortstation") and get off at "Muiderpoortstation". Then take Bus 40 to "Amsterdam Science Park".

Directions from central station to CWI:
There is a new train station "Amsterdam Science Park" that is very close to CWI. Trains from "Amsterdam Centraal" take about 8 minutes and depart every 30 minutes. You can walk to CWI from there.

The second closest train station is "Amstel Station". From there bus 40 goes to "Amsterdam Science Park".
